yup so 5 of us because melvin could not make it on time got started with our Japanese Food rush! at 5.45pm yah so the members were the only girl Jessica and the MEN! ( note not boys anymore MEN!) Keith, Bobby, Wayne and me! we got to kuishinbo at 5.45pm as no one was late at all.. yes i love it when no ones late. and keith got no chance to be late because he was with me in the earlier afternoon to run some errands in bugis area. SO anyhow since jess will come later so we just sat down and started stuffing our faces with food just like any avg singaporean guy haha. We came at the earliest timing and we left quite late. yup so the Cost first.. very important key point... it says 34.90++ and after plus the ++ it costed a OMG BOMB, it costed 43bucks per person. so if u dun have an empty belly and dun want to spend ALOT on dinner... PLEASE go to a normal japanese restaurant ok... this is not for the small eaters. I felt we spent the worth because i had hell lots of snow crab... REALLLY ALOT .. haha.. if u ask the rest most of the time i chowing down on the snow crab (not crap) yah plus for most of us, this was the only meal of the day.. we did not have breakfast or lunch haha... so if u counted i guess u can have a good lunch and dinner with $20 on the budget to spend. BUT man.. i got to say the food was quite worth it. ok so as usual i will stop typing here and let some pictures do the talking.  i always seem to get a shot of Keith that is very unglam .. haha  OH man.. besides crab... i had alot of eel and scallop! WOOT! and they taste just great.  Bobby's mixed platter of fried stuff and ONE sushi.. because i said whoever took sushi in the start was stupid! LOL HAHAHAHAHA! ( rice fills u up mah... )  Keith platter of fried stuff and eel... can tell that we are very unhealthy people.  LOL! hahahahaha! ok bobby did not really say that so did keith.. but it seems that way!  OMG SNOW CRAB! SNOW CRAB! SNOW CRAB! yeah i had ALOT of this... they are HUGE! oh yah.. and snow crab is damn worth it because it cost a BOMB outside. was really nice with a sweet taste. It goes well with soya sauce or alone.  YEAH soft shell crab.. this one is quite worth it. outside one plate of 2 piece is about $5 to $8  HAHA erm... sadly we did not take any group pics... and this was the only few shots i got of us... haha Keith and Bobby ( both of them looks strange.. too excited maybe?) haha  ok u might be thinking now WHY GOT NO PIC OF WAYNE???!? haha very easy... look at the picture on top! haha see what was Wayne's first plate of food??? SUSHI! ahh.. yes... the stupid one.. so to avoid him being scold by strangers "Stupid" randomly ( HEHE but those who know him too bad man ! LOL PWN!) yup i have kindly not put up this face and use his nice black tee shirt to make the food look like a studio shot! LOL haha ( thats y the background is Black man.. u think i so ON bring black cloth just to shoot ar? LOL )  ok this was smth wayne found it is called erm.. KA Nei Na Bei or smth... in short it just sounds like i am scolding your father! HAHAHA :P opps.. yah but it is just a hot pot of clear soup with vege, ur choice of meat and more vege inside.. taste not bad.  "Eh i thought eating sushi was stupid? LOL why got sushi picture?" chill man.. this was taken towards the end of the buffet and as u can tell there was no more sunlight. The sushi tasted great. not like OMG THIS THE THE SUSHI OF THE YEAR MAN! but it is more like... oh taste like sushi... taste good but avg common, it is like any other sushi u can get outside.  LAST but not least there is always desserts. ok i am at fault here.. i only took pic of my chocolate fondue stuff haha there were great tarts i did not take pic of mainly because i was in the toilet ( haha too much crab so i had to crap)oh and green tea soft icecream which none of us were a big fan about. The first mouth tasted Great but after that it was abit hard to swallow i duno why, i am guessing the slight bitter taste of tea itself was present in the mix or smth like that. haha! anyway i finished mine by drinking green tea first.. then eating the ice cream and that cancels out the icecream green tea taste and that leaves u with only a sweet vanilla ice cream taste! LOL :P Yup overall we had ALOT of fun haha... talking and making fun of STUFF! LOL haha and yah... chit chatting and when all the evil guys gather, we are bound to say stupid funny things all day.. lol but the atmosphere was GREAT and this would be a great place to have a small gathering. 6 people is the best because anymore people, not everyone will get to talk to everyone and it will become pockets of small groups here and there. ok how to know if you are making the Rght choice to eat at kuishinbo? Here is a little self help Eat here if 4 or more of the following statements about you are true.... -DAMN I LOVE CRAB! and seafood and sashimi and dory fish and eel and prawns.... -OMG SUSHI LOVE IS THE ONLY LOVE... -MAN BEEF IS GOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT! -OH LOOK THERE IS AN EXTRA $50 IN MY WALLET! -I haven't talked to my friends in like 50 years! (one year save one dollar) -I think my stomach is the black hole Universe all in one!!! -I haven't ate in 3 days but i saved all my pocket money. Yup thats about it, if these statements are true dun bother thinking man! get ur butt down and start stuffing ur face esp if this is really true " I haven't ate in 3 days but i saved all my pocket money. what the hell rite.. why is Ben like praising himself for? anyway for those who know and for those who duno, Keith and me are redesigning the Trybe centre wall and you cant really like Print on paper and paste it on the wall so we got to illustrate them. So the main problem is that i have not really drew anything since la salle year 1 foundation. and i totally suck at creating characters and well generally i feel that i am not ALL THAT great at drawing or anything like that. So these last 4 days i been churning out drawings and i was kinda FED UP and stressed because i cannot work it out! MAN! but then as i go and get advice and critic from Keith ( thats what fellow designers are for. He is not being mean.) i was able to come up with smth on friday night i think... Today i did up the other part of my scope and i feel really happy about it because i drew smth and it looks nice and i DID WELL and i LOVED IT ! LOL for those who duno again.. on a personal note. i never really loves anything i designed? or smth.. i always feel that it can still be ALOT better or i feel that it looks very newbie designer standard. so i just felt very happy about it.. i duno if i can share the design out i wanted to take picture of my messy and hell workspace but i think it is fine lah. haha ... oh yah.. and this is the first time i did alot of inking (google it if u duno what it means, because i can type this really long side note but cant tell u what it means.) and i did not use the computer for anything except printing out the template. Anyway Keith says i will need alot of time to paint this out. haha i hope i can! WOOT but so glad i took up this project because i was thinking of doing smth simple but i think i would have hated the previous idea if i had followed through it. Been a really fun process and i just wanted to share the joy!

What i like about malaysia is that the food is really worth it and it taste good too. Anyway currently Malaysia is having their great malaysia sale GMS LOL! but the things that are on huge discounts around actually those shops like G2000 and Inbase which are shops you can find in Singapore. The shops u Cant find in Singapore are the street style clothes, erm like Stylo ( which i dun fancy at all) and they got shops that brings in new Xlarge, Subcrew, Stussy and not very real Bape. LOL anyway i dun like Bape too much although everyone thinks it is hot or what... i go mainly for design not brands. ( usually the good brands got to good design but not all) paying $100 for a branded tee that has design that sucks loses to a $10 tee that had a good design printed on it. thats how i work. I dun believe that BRANDED MEANS GOOD! (e.g alot of nike tee shirts design suckszor! so even if the material is not bad or they are a good brand i dun buy them.) anyway the Good news! i got a tee shirt 2 belt and issues of HK Milk mag which is only RM 4.50 Each haha erm did not see many things i wanted to buy mainly because i am too fat so pants dun fit, tee shirts dun fit and Caps dun fit ( i got a big head.) yah BUT THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND CHEAP! so anyhow here was how it all went. First we met 10am at kranji mrt. Travelled down through the courseway by bus and stuff and in a moment we were in Malaysia. so we headed to the all so famous City Square and had lunch around 11.20 haha that was early. haha i was thinking of eating Auntie Annie first then have lunch later, however Melvin suggested that later shop no need to stop lol haha! (makes himself look like a shopperholic! LOL although he bought the least stuff... LOL) yup so when there is food, there is always pictures! LOL ok so we headed to the Kim Grey Hong Kong cafe, the same one we went the last trip with Anthony, Kelvin, Mel and me. I HAD TO TRY WHAT ANTHONY HAD THE LAST TIME! LOL so yah ... ok i ordered the Chicken Chop Baked Rice! woot... erm RM16.90. haha Mel and keith had the other set lunch that i did not bother taking pics of. haha (i realise i dun really feel like taking pics of food but i just want to. lol so flickle) yah i did not take pics of their food and i realise after coming back to singapore i got some problem handling the focus and composition on my pics which always turn out funny.. LOL ok anyway FOOD~!    haha ok why is it good to eat there if you are thinking right now. rm16.90 is more expensive than eating in singapore! thats like 8.90 for a dish. BUT BUT WHAT U DID NOT KNOW IS! that is the price of the SET LUNCH! LOL comes with a drink, soup and a dessert! That makes it totally worth it. in Sg yah.. u will be paying SDG16.90 or more for the same thing! ok anyway erm just to say we did not take any pictures of us shopping. because i am one not a fan of being taken in pictures thats why i like to take pictures instead AND we are guys.. we dun cam whore ALOT ALOT.. just 1 or 2 shots.. so here u go!  ok group shot time! hehe purposely take like that.. i dun trust other ppl with my camera... not without warranty  Here you got Keith being stupid  Here is Melvin being stupid... And EH? wheres Ben being stupid? haha no way u see Ben being stupid on his own blog! ok instead of a Ben being stupid, he will put a nice picture of the lighting in the shop  Anyway it was Shopping time! went from the top floor to the bottom floor. haha no funny pictures. got a few great deals i got a Obey Tee shirt for RM70 original so i guess it wont shrink like mad like those fakes they got. after that i got a belt for RM29 and a leather belt for RM30 which was on 70% off haha erm no pics of it because again we are Guys not gals ... LOL yup after finishing up city square we had Auntie Annies YEAH! BEST because it was only RM3.20 each haha :P then we decided to take a cab to check out some other malls. according to Melvin's Mum friend, there was one called tebaru city plaza. so we cabbed there for RM18 heres a few pics we took in the cab   LOL look my hopelessly amazing pimple scars! LOL they better heal up.... erm the sad thing is there is like a Vivo city... TOTALLY LIKE VIVO city. oh yah ... it was like Vivo city... Did i mention Vivo city? haha same size i think.. lol OMG HUGE with all the adult brands that u find in like vivo city. yup the only street style thing there was Quiksilver. LOL! oh yah.. and i huge super market that is like Giant called Jusco or smth.. LOL anyway we walked around the whole place in an hour and found nth particularly interesting so we went to find MORE FOOOOOOOD! HAHA ok we were thinking of Pizza hut because it was OMG cheap.. lol one personal pan soup a side and drink for only RM7.90 haha BUT NO we were overseas! HE HE HE... WE WILL EAT GOOD FOOD! LOL so we decided to go to the Manhattan Fish Market! whoo... so keith finally got the seafood he wanted but it was not say DAMN cheap and no cereal prawn... LOL! anyway lets the pictures do the talking. the thing is that we all ordered different fish and chip meals. there are 3 different fishes but ALL of them look about the same just taste different. LOL so can you spot the difference?        OH YEAH! we ordered this great seafood platter for 2 to share. they like torch the prawns on the spot and it comes with calamari, oyster, fish and chips and garlic rice it was REALLY good to my standard of seafood... i give it a 7/10 for taste alone.  This is when u cut the Fish... haha not that pretty but still it taste good, the fish is fresh and the thing u see there is not oil ok .. is the base got mixed with lemon and flour. I like it because the fish taste great and the flour coat is not too thick and oily which is very important or else it just taste like oil. The thing that lose would be the sauce on it. They used tatar sauce mixed with smth... not that great. Fish & Co sauce wins this one by abit.  oh the Prawns are good and because it was torched like u seen above, the shell is super crunchy and Shiok! haha it was kinda like cereal prawns lah... haha just without the cereal. Because it was so crispy, the whole prawn can be eaten as whole. ( I never eat the head though... because... i dun like the head... thats it .. LOL)  OH RIGHT! so here marks the end of the day, personally i spent $100 and less Sing. mainly my tee shirt was Ex and we did not eat Cheap food thats why... but it was all worth it! =D food total cost was RM159.05 so thats about SGD67.70 so I would say about SGD23 per person like that and it was all good food!!! haha yup it was surely worth it and there were alot of hot girls while we were there LOL :P HAHA i Had a fun time with the Keith and Melvin and we had funny topic that usually Jasper will ask but since Jasper is in Camp and stuff... Melvin asked them instead! LOL HAHA i would rate this outing 8/10! pros - Good friends - Hot girls - Cheap good food - Lots to shop - Fixed budget spending ( i was planning to spend SGD100 so i did not really need to hold back and think too much before getting what i liked. unlike normally i would come back another time to get smth i liked.) Cons. - most things dun fit my seize - RAIN! - everyones english is really bad

If you know me well enough, you know i love lightning.. i find great beauty in it and every flash is awesome! if there is a lightning storm near my area, i can spend a whole hour just sitting by my window waiting for lightning strikes to happen. So this time it is lightning. and these shots were taken without planning. East coast there around some chalets. it was going to rain so i just took there and took these... it is blur yes... because i had no tripod. did not retouch with photoshop. What you see is what you get. haha Canon G7 erm i think programmed mode haha :P     (edited the lightning spelling LOL :P thks keith..) i know my spelling fail.

anyway i did not take any shots inside because i forgot to take out my G7 and my vivitar has a fixed shutter and stuff so well it cant take anything in the dark, it will all just look seriously underexposed. but while walking down to panjang plaza, the SUN IS BURNING HOT! and when the sun is burning ur toes off ur slipper, you know it is time to whip out that Fixed shutter film cam and TAKE SOME SHOTS! Amazing! just walking down the path to plaza from bangkit, i saw many different and interesting things i never noticed before. I think i took about 8 shots today haha but sorry since it is film i cant really like upload it now and show everyone haha. well i cant wait for my Hogla to come currently it has reached singapore and i just need to meet the sales person. haha yah so sometimes this week. I really feel that lomography is really fun. number one is that i wont need to worry i spoil my digital cam sensor LOL because i love to take the Sky and sun and stuff but erm... although all digital cam i think comes with this UV protection on the sensors, it kinda still spoils your sensor and create dead pixels ( which is one of the things you dun want you camera to ever have.) and changing the sensor cost a bomb. second is really that film creates a different effect than your digital, because flim got this weird darkening and dark edges in its shots, there may sometimes be shadow overcast here and there which the digital cam might just cancel it away since they are all so high tech now. overall the effect film photography which is now known as lomography is really experimental and surprising haha. everytime i collect my developed film, i always wonder what i got. haha. haha here is a shot or a cat near trybe centre. haha i like to photograph cats only haha personally i wont keep a pet cat even if i can.  STUNT!

this time NOT ALL BUILDINGS OK! haha .. yah i got a feedback on why is all my shots buildings.. LOL wide angle lens tend to give buildings this Towering over you feeling or just makes it look fuller in some sense... therefore i love to take buildings.. haha but this time i tried some new subjects and playing with the light abit more .. HEHEHE.. the last few photos turned out really nice... Camera" Vivitar Wide and Slim ! Film: fujiflim superia ISO 400 ( HEHE FOR BRIGHT COLOURS!) Enjoy!  MORE HDBs! I think no one saw the last post on Kuishinbo so i will post it again... I am organizing a little gathering which is open to anyone I know.  (photo from neko-no-hime.blogspot.com) venue: Kuishinbo Suntec City Mall #03-002 3 Type: Japanese food buffet. Cost: dinner at $33.80 (Monday to Thursday) or $39.80 (Friday to Sunday & Eve of and Public Holiday). time: 5.30pm to 10pm ( this the dinner timing. ) Date: somewhere in the Third week of august. Limit: 15 people ( sorry too many very hard to do anything e.g seats contacts blah blah blah) closing date: 16th aug 2008 ( first come first serve ) If you love japanese food and interested to go please contact me via phone or msn. dun tag on my board. yah i am asking this early because for many people in our age group are not really working. So if you want to go you can start saving today haha. Food review. ok i been there once with my parents.. the only people we found was that the seats are really small (you know since everyone is like 170 and taller :P) Yah! there is a good selection of japanese food there (like DUH! japanese buffet) and for dinner they got Snow Crab free flow... which is like HELL YEAH! haha.... Erm i got feedback about this kobe beef thing but duno if they got it there since it is some very expensive grade of beef... so sorry but they got sashimi there and it taste not bad although i dun like sashimi myself. The Deserts they have are REALLY good i remember, lots of chocolate stuff and soft ice cream. Good variety of Japanese food thats for sure. There is no cooking there (you know like yuki yaki or seoul garden style) , all the food are cooked for you already and it is more of a Eat, chat and chill kind of thing. anyway it is Pay there so if u want to come and cant make it in the end it is totally fine.
