research is quite hard.. i can say singapore has good art history and popular design books but when it comes to theory it is quite hard to find anything.... man... there are just alot of critical thinking and brain storming needed and i feel really drained... i dun even know if i am on the right track... one word to sum it up is " SIANZZZZZZZZ" alright thats enough complaining for now... time to get back to work... ok for designers out there here are some tups i got from a Design book from the library... "Design elements a graphic style manual" by Timothy Samara 1. Have a concept. 2. Communicate; don't decorate. 3. Speak with one visual voice. 4. Use two Typeface MAX. 5. Show one thing first. 6. Pick colors on purpose. 7. If you can do more with less, do it! 8. Negative space is magical. 9. Treat Type as a image. 10. Keep Type friendly 11. Be universal; it is not about you. 12. Squish and separate: create rhythms in density and openness. 13. Firecracker and rising sun: distribute light and dark. 14. Be decisive. 15. Measure with your eyes. 16. Make what you need; don't scavenge. 17. Ignore fashion. 18. Move it! static equals dull. 19. Look into history; but don't repeat it. 20. Symmetry is the ultimate evil. hope this helps.. =)

it has been a few years since it came out and there has been many twist and turns on the plot.. for those who reads, the lastest issue is about Sasuke finally fighting his brother after his brother killed his whole clan... the interesting thing is that he left Sasuke alive so that he can take his eyes BUT!!.... Note: pls read them in the larger view... enjoy.. =)    the comic strips are copy right of Naruto... anything go find them.. i only spoof them.. plus i edited the drawing a little... haha

ok first thing first.. Keith Bday.. well it is Keith's Bday this month on the 29th.. and we decided to celebrate it at New York New York at the cityhall branch since cell was cancelled... ok on Keith's Blog he state that i decided to have dinner to celebrate but it was actually MELVIN who suggested it .. haha i only suggest the venue.. HAHA! anyway New York New York is a great place to eat! -value for money.. -good variety to select from -free candy floss! -good ambience but abit warm... haha ok well we ordered food eat and chat and had some fun.. haha .. thats about it lah! LOL.. haha so here are some pics...      ok if you are wondering what the hell is the last pic... it is called CAKE TOASTING ! LOL.. yes. we toast the cake.. and if things turn out bad... you lose your cake.. lol! just like keith.. haha.... i took his ! LOL :P okok next on the list is actually something i did before dinner.. haha i was on the way to getting a new CAP! LOL.. ok i got a cap from queens couture at heerens on that same day.. now i am really broke haha ... ok here is a pic of my cap.. and YES IT IS GREEN! for those who duno.. guy who wear green hat in chinese is known as dai lue mao or 带绿帽 hahaha.. it means to be the father of another man child or something.. haha yah here it is ..  man lazy to take a nice shot lah! LOL next is that i met Cheryl ER whom i know from Osch at Cine... she was with her friend louis.. invited me to join them and we caught up and hanged out for a few hours since i was meeting Keith they all for dinner at 6pm so instead of going home for a hour and going out again we just chit chatted until 5 smth haha.. so long never see and talk to her liao.. of course we "sisters" ( because some say we look alike) took some pic.. haha    this guy here is Louis who i think looks like a smaller Jun Hao haha.. same smile! LOL... yup thats about it... no food to intro this time.. haha but New York New York food is good and well worth it ... haha so overall it was a good day... next update will be on animals ! anyway these past fews day havent been blogging, lately due to sch and stuff, nothing much interesting has happened... well my new shoes fits well and feels great... MY hair HAIZ... kinda regret cutting it.. NOW MY HEAD IS SOOOOO SMALL! and my new shirts are like baggy skater shirts! SIAN! i look damn funny now lah... HAIZ... so the SOLUTION! get a CAP... I am thinking of going to Queens Culture to get their caps.. they are kinda pricey, $35 for a cap? but the thing is that their caps are BIG... it really makes a difference for me because Singapore caps are DAMN SMALL.. and all the DODO bird sales man like to tell me to "JUST ADJUST THE back strap lah" hello? can you see that if the cap create a sharp triangle shape on your head it looks like shit? LOL...! That is why i always wear the Flesh imp cap.. because it JUST happen that this one cap design was in a bigger size... -_-ll thats all the rest were very small.. haha.. so i might head down there tomorrow after school to take a look again.. haha queensway got one High cut one too lah.. plain no design for $16.. it is kinda small though... but the good thing is that when i make my silk screen, i can screen print my own design on it.. HOHOHO! and MY JEANS TOO! HOHO AND anything else i want to screen print on! LOL :P SO THIS POST IS CALLED? SPIDER-MAN!! WOAH... totally nothing to do with it? NOPE .. there is ! today after sch walking down to bugis street to cut to bugis junction i saw THIS! LOL   LOL BUT CHECK THIS OUT!!!  haha a tiny spider.. LOL nice touch sia.. =D ok thats about it!

i feel damn weird!! LOL and because of my short hair, my head looks smaller.. and because of that .. my shirts look BIGGER! LOL and the new shirts i got are HUGE ! LOL they are just very long lah haha but MAN! i look funny... got to faster decide if i want to get a cap... but sadly is my fringe lah.. it is very curly some how... so i feel that i look damn weird... when it is blowed dry, my fringe is quite straight one.. but i sweat really easily! LOL so when i do sweat it curls up like MAD! LOL then i will look damn weird and untidy... anyway it been a long time since i had short hair lah.. so just have it cut.. anyway it will be not too long and just nice during my medical checkup.. haha so ok lah... no harm done... but i feel weird because i am not used to it.. haha.. and my friends says it looks ok .. LOL ... duno lah... tml SCH! LOL ... GG how short? here is a pic!  OH YAH and my head is quite big.. it is not my hair is makes the caps dun fit ok... i tried a before and after thing..!

actually today i wanted to go to far east to check out the shoes they got there.. although i did not have much hope of finding anything cheap but at least i went there to take a look and check out the prices... TO MY SURPRISE !!! it is cheaper.. -_-lll hahahaha! LUCKY i did not get it in a rush at queensway... HAHA because at queensway there was this one pair i liked... but it cost over my budget of $100.. haha by just 30 bucks .. but i wanted to keep it below a hundred.. LOL and at Limited Ed vault, they got some cheap ones.. haha but nothing i liked.. and the guy there say me this.. want nice but still want cheap! LOL haha but in a friendly way lah! LOL anyway today in a spur of a moment and feeling damn sian at home, i decided to go to far east to take a LOOK only.. and my bro was feeling damn bored.. so it is good time to fellowship with him! so we headed to far east.. and walked around allllll the shoe shops... actually i wanted a change of style lah.. maybe get a Nike Dunk High Cut shoe.. haha so we both checked it out around and i found the same pair of shoe i liked and wanted at queensway but for only $99!!!! LOL just nice! SHIOK! .. so i asked the guy for size 11 or 12.. because some shoe the cutting for me is 11 some is 12... he had 12 but it was too big... but thk God... he could Get a size 11 from somewhere else i think.. because he said he can get stock.. haha so i waited abit and woahlah! a size 11... tried it on and it fits well! very comfty ... ok one of the very funny thing is that .. for me lah.. usually when i am alone shopping around, once i go into the shop.. there will always be a flood load of people coming in after that.. and the thing is before i go in there is no one there.. -_-ll and today my bro told me the same thing happens to him.. LOL i duno lah... maybe we notice the flow of customers more when we are inside the shop.. but man! it happens to every shop we go.. at first inside got 1 or 2 persons or no one at all... but then after we go in BAM! in less than a minute! haha... i think we very Wang! LOL... next time open shop sure got alot of customers ! LOL :P oh here is the pic of the shoe.. i tried taking it using some flash and stuff from my cam .. testing out product photography..  I had a good time talking with my bro too ... if you have a brother or sister.. do find time to go out with them... you will realise they got alot to share =D

went to Queensway with Henzy and Wayne yesterday and got my self 4 tees and a pair of jeans... the tees are kind big.. LOL .. skater style i guess... haha i like bah... then the prints are kinda... normal lah.. lol jsut logo stuff but that is how i like it.. then i was home this morning, i saw a big bag of old clothes.. then i asked my mum what is she doing with it.. she say throw away or donate loh.. you all never wear also.. haha because she just cleaned the store room haha anyway i asked if i could see whats in the bag.. and WOAH... my first ever tee design for Genesis was INSIDE!! LOL LUCKY i asked sia.. or else wasted... although it is disbanded.. haha.. and the shirt cutting is kinda weird and tight for me.. but well it is my first tee design that was printed.. and it looks good ok.... then i found a pair of old jeans! LOL i used to wear it but i got too small haha but now it fits well! LOL DUN WASTE CAN WEAR HAHA .. and i also found my old cargo pants from S&k haha.. the brown faded to some dirty brown.. but it still looks good lah.. so just take and wear haha.. no point throwing away if still can wear.. ok now left is a new pair of shoes.. and i am very tempted to get a pair of Nike Vintage High Cut haha... got a few shoes on my choice list... i was thinking something grey, navy blue or red.. the best if i can find one from nike SB ... i wish i lived in US lah.. there can custom make your own dunks... whatever colour you want! LOL.. but too bad i dun.. so got to make the best out of it in sg with all the Weird colour combi they got.. LOL so anyhow i will be going to Fareast and also penisular plaza? there got alot of shoes... they might just have the normal colors dunk. haha Just want to thank God for the $$ to buy these stuff! Amen..

BUT BUT BUT!!! only the sole come off mah! HAHA so i ( actually my dad was going out so he saw my shoe spoilt so he...) got it GLUED BACK! for only $3 you can get both SOLE Glued back... haha.. but i am not sure if it will last long lah haha... man.. i been wearing this same shoe for about 2 years i think.. almost lah.. maybe a year and a half... MY NIKE SB series shoe is damn shiok! but well i guess this shoe has gone a long way HAHA ... What did i do with my shoe? erm... - I used to jog in them in the gym running about 4km with it.. until i got my running shoes... haha - Dance Hip Hop 1,2 and Popping 1 with it... and a few open classes.. - wear it to almost everywhere i go until last year around aug when i got a pair of converse shoe but i still wore my nike one most of the time... - catch the bus with it? yah that about it... been a good shoe and it is stillllll very comfortable ... haha i guess i am going to get a new one? haha not Vans i guess one is because it is not very anti slip ( for some models ) then it seldom comes in my size anymore in SG.. always until 11 -_-lll i think i might get a nike dunk or something of the same series as my current one... i love skater shoes so i think i will just get another one.. haha and Nike SB6.0 series shoes are very good because there is very little wear and tear on the base of my shoe... and it has not become super thin yet.. haha

anyway man it is boring and stiff to do research haha... and wiki this time is not much of a help... haha who says Wikipedia Knows it all.. haha so here i am sitting on my desk on a Tuesday and i realize i got school tomorrow and guess what.. i felt totally SIAN of my trybe shirts! LOL i been wearing the same 5 shirts for at least half a year already... haha crazy.. i need some new shirts but the designs in the market either dun suit me or the cutting is really uncomfortable... haha sucks .. haha i have decided to lay down my standard and head to queensway one day to get a few new best of the Badly designed tees i can find... just hope they dun strink or run colour too much ... haha... so finally Ben will be in more then BLACK and the DIY shirts will erm.. be seen in a later stage haha.. If anyone wants to buy me shirts for any reason it will be GREAT! just know i dun like white, Pink or very bright colours and i wear XL, i prefer skater style designs and graffiti... the designs i like are usually printed on the front of the tee where you can usually locate the chest or lungs or whatever you like to call it .. =) i also like the Liverpool Jersey although i dun support them but i support their jersey design! LOL :P HAHAHAHA (right Ben.. fat hope anyone will get you a shirt.. LOL ) i really like simple stuff like this..   and i love them in black hahaha... other colours white ok lah.. but not Pink or bright purple and some weird blue colours haha

so today i realized how rusty my Hip Hop is .. but by the end of the class my brains wake up liao lah.. HAHA oiled the rusty and ready to get better and when i am allllll warmed up, it was time for the class to end! LOL HAHAHA really sianz... but now my card got credit inside... i will go for it again next week i think haha... i really like dancing and it is a great and Fun way to lose weight haha.. :P so Jia You to myself haha...

Who is God to you? was the main topic... as we proceed to the new year... knowing the Answer of this question will be the thing to see how your walk with God will become... Well for me... Who is God? a Father, a saviour, our provider, our redeemer or our Lord?... to me he is the one who is in Control. for me i believe since God is in control of all even if stuff dun turn out our way, there is nothing to fear. but that does not mean i dun try my best or neither means i am always calm or have this dun care attitude. well if i want to Grow in this areas i guess i will have alot of times where i need to know that God is in control haha.. anyway if you know me i lose my cool very quickly, usually it is because i am very High D usually. so when i lose control over a matter i get stress and i like things to happen fast. No one including me should be waiting for anything... (anyway if you have no idea what is High D, it is from a behavior study profiling) thats about it .. haha a bit to the serious side. anyway Since it is Sakae Sushi.. OF COURSE knowing me i have to try their Katsu Curry Don...   looks nice right but only the pic looks nice... HAHA the Chicken taste ok only.. Thats the only good thing... thats all Number #1 NOT ENOUGH CURRY! WTH! haha.. we had to ask for more curry then it took them about 10 mins before they brought the Curry to us.. Number #2 Small like SIAO! $9.90 put in a tiny bowl.. i get more for $4.80 at Sim Lim food court BORING... more like Kids meal... Number #3 Rice not nice... BORING.. haha just avg quality jap rice.. (HAHA after learning that Rice is very important, i consider the rice too) Number #4 LOL CURRY VERY VERY THIN.. LOL haha like eating the curry Udon like that.. LOL theirs is soup so ok... Japanese Curry is qutie thick one leh.. this one .. HAIZ.. gets only 1.5/5 points.. LOL go try it if you got a really small appetite and dun mind the $$ haha for me although i am not paying but it is still not worth it! LOL :P OK thats about it ... ( disclaimer notice... this commenting is base on my personal preference, if you think it really ROCKS good for you.. and should this post make you feel that you should never eat at Sakae Sushi that is your own problem.. they got other things there that is good i think? anyway Met up with Jo, Cam and Mr X haha Xiong Xing... for lunch at 1pm first. after that the briefing was at 2.30pm, as usual it is kinda boring except the new class part. well after that i thought Mr X they all will take a long long time to ask alot of stuff and duno what else so i decided to join Fir they all first to chill then leave since Xiong and Cam both taking same bus back as me! HAHA ... i realise i tend to follow the crowd that goes back the same way together. so we went to walk around Bugis and stuff and all took 960 home. anyway i saw this cool car sia.. haha  i think it is quite cool to see these in Singapore more than to see some other Sports cars haha ... has this cool Vintage feeling haha... next at Bugis Junction Mr X help me take a pic! LOL.. it is called Act Candid...  Hope School will be good hah =)

Click to Enlarge anyway it reminds me once that i got a call from a certain Famous Gym once telling me that my friend has sign me up for a free vip trail with them... this kind of advertising is the worst lah... number one the person sounds so fake, once i heard i could tell that my "Friend" is a made up character.... then next is that he NEVER said who my "friend" is... like DUH... but it is not that bad only because it is a free trail thing and i got free incoming call... but this is a very bad way to do tele marketing... BAD BAD BAD idea...

Well the first thing in the year of Sabbath, was to get Sick and it totally blew my plans to print myself some new shirts... but i doubt i will do it in time anyway haha.. so still ok lah... get to rest and relax 1 whole week before School starts on Tuesday since the last two weeks of my life been super Busy until it cant get busier anymore... And as the Year starts the spirit of Not enough starts all over again... once again i feel that this year my pocket is going to be super tight again... maybe this is a chance for me to learn cooking! and pack food to school instead of eating out! hahaha.. since food court prices has gone up, even burger King student meal is $3.95 no more.. now it is $4.45? i think somewhere there. for me i also need to watch my cash flow.. i think i got to get like a book or something to record down my daily spending and stuff sia.. or else suddenly i will realise i am broke... haha at home there is this feeling again... cant share much about it but it is not a good thing.. haha Inside i feel damn fed up sia...anyway it is time to make a change in lifestyle... guess there wont be so much movies, food outings and gatherings for me... if i can i think i will just stay home... anyway Thanks for TAGGING!!! haha it really brought life back to my blog with my old retarded pics...! WOAH totally FAT and very small boy looking hahaha... man i still did not know how to wear a tie then.. and my face was so fat that it looks like the tie was choking me.. LOL !  LOL LOL ! sec 2!!! i was a prefect! LOL and man! i am still fat sia... i think it was because at one stage of my life my parents keep bringing us on cruise then i kept eating like a PIG !!! HOHOHO!  LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!! i remember during my end year break when i was sec 2 i went swimming ALOT! so now i look tanner and i duno why but i look damn chheeeenaaa in this pic sia..? hahah izzit the tan ? or the hair do sia? haha but i dun even recogize myself looking like this sia.. LOL! haha this was beginning of Sec 3 lah...  MAN this was the end of Sec 3 actually ... beginning of Sec 4.. took this while making my IC .... lol.. still quite fat sia... LOL but still ok ...  and today if i stare blankly to the photobooth to take a passport photo i guess it will look something like this.. haha :P haha so this is my process of Growing older... anyway this was the year of Victory in FCBC... which was one heeck of a year... there were many battles to be fought and many many events happening... super crazy year! but what i learnt is that in every problem whether we win or not... we WIN in Christ! so we till win lah.. just not personally haha.... 2007 was a year to remember... so many things but i want to Thank God for many things .... one is for bringing my family closer together... my mum say it is because we are older now so we dun argu much like kids but i think it is not just that but really through many problems, it really brings the family closer together... next is my cell group, thank God for them praying for me and be by my side during Down times.. Thanks my leader although i always call you mr koh or rong hui unlike other church guy calling their spiritual father ah pa.. but you always been my spiritual Father! thank God for you and Thank you for fathering me every step along the way! =D next of course are the bros and sis in fcbc... making my walk with God full of fun.... Jasper, Wayne and the rest... Thank God for you guys... so fun!! and i hope to know you all better in 2008. there is always Guang Han cell... the GARANG guys of this network haha... Dan, Gab, Daniel you all damn funny lah.... fcbc will be a dull place without you guys.. hahahahahahha! really a great year.. full of Ups and Downs but full of learning breakthroughs and self discovery. ok what are the best things of 2007????? i guess there are a few Things... (meaning material stuff) LOL one is my Digital Cam G7 which now 90% with me and made me become the Unofficial official photographer for last min events. next is actually one of Mr koh.. haha although he Got me a Christmas present that i think i wont be using until i get a new laptop one day.... but i got his Playstation 2 which is really good because i am Using a iMac... i totally have no fun games to play at all but with a PS2... WOOO when i really need to relax and play, it is there! =D hahahha Thank God for it !!! last but not least... MY ROOM! i cant remember if i blogged about it but now i have my own room.. my Old Study is not my Room. Thank God my bed fits in just nice! although i cant sleep with a Aircon anymore but i never really slept with a Aircon much anyway haha... fan is cool.. haha so this been a great 2007! want to give thanks to all my bros, Keith, Melvin, Ivan, Henzy, Tian Ci, Justin, Jasper, Wayne, Dan and many more.... and sisters too... Hui yu, Jessica, funny people like Shermaine, Fel, Valeria, Yixin and the people from Kelly and Dun Ling? lol duno how to spell Cell... haha because Combine Cell will not be that fun if all you where not there!! HAHA so it is good! so there was a Count Down party... LOL after all the words i got very few pictures... so sad.. really want to take some good pics but always blur... guess i got to use the flash so it will be clear.. i try to use it further so it will be softer... haha so here are some pics or 2007!!!! WOOO! there is alot alot to post haha ...
